Composite framing Enables 50% More Tie-downs and Uplift Resistance - By locating every stud on 24 inch (61 cm) centers, continuous load paths can be maintained from the truss to the stud, through the floor panel, to the stud below, to the sill plate, and finally into the concrete pad.

Composite Decks and Overhangs are Light and Strong - CBS I-beams on 24 inch (61 cm) centers are light and strong, enabling balconies and overhangs to be built, often without requiring support posts. (See section on Floors).
No Deterioration - Because composite materials are inert to the atmosphere and supporting as skeletons inside the panels they will never deteriorate and the strength of each overhang will be maintained throughout the life of the building. Pre-engineered decks can be supplied with sheeting on top and bottom to provide a factory-finished unitized structure for safety and longevity.
